Sealants - Elastomeric Pourable
Product Description
Joint Shield 5700 is a heavy duty, semi-rigid hybrid polyurea joint filler designed to fill and protect concrete joint edges and prevent sidewall spalling and chipping due to forklift traffic. Designed for use as a heavy duty joint filler for interior warehouse / industrial floors subject to heavy forklift traffic and loads.
Uses Joint Shield 5700 is commonly used as a:

BASF Masterflex 700 is a two-part polysulphide sealant whose base component consists of a specially formulated blend of liquid polysulphide polymer, plasticizers and fillers. When mixed with the curing agent it forms a tough, flexible, durable, rubber like material, which adheres to most common construction surfaces.
It is supplied in two grades – gun grade for vertical, overhead and general applications, and pouring grade for horizontal joints.
Masterflex 700 meets with the specifications of:
- BS 5212 (Pouring Grade)
- BS 4254: (Gun Grade), 1983
- US Federal Specification TT-S-00227E
- ASTM C920:79
Masterflex 700 forms long-lasting weather and watertight seals in joints subject to regular movement or permanent deformation.
Uses
Masterflex 700 Gun Grade is used for vertical joints in dams, reservoirs, water treatment plants, subways, culverts, seawalls, bridges, curtain walling, pre-cast concrete panelling and high rise buildings;
Masterflex 700 Pouring Grade is used for horizontal joints in bridges, concrete pavements, factory and garage floors

Advantages
- Resistant to UV and weathering – extended life in exposed conditions
- Tough, elastomeric and flexible – accommodates cyclical movement without rupturing
- Excellent adhesion to most substrates – suitable critical joints which are subject to high levels of deformation or continuous cyclic movement
- Non toxic – permits use in drinking water reservoirs
- Unique single container packaging – removes problem of transferring correct amount of curing agent before mixing
BASF Sonomeric 1 is a one-part self-levelling polyurethane sealant for horizontal joints in chemical and industrial environments
Uses
Active horizontal exterior joints exposed to chemical attack. Including airport runways and hangers, chemical bunds, industrial service roads and infrastructure. Substrates including concrete.

Advantages
- Weather resistant - long performance.
- Jet-fuel resistant - withstands chemical attack.
- Exceptional elongation - tolerates joint movement.
- No mixing - use directly from container.
- No priming on most applications - easy to apply.
Thioflex 600 Pouring Grade is a multi-component joint sealant, based on a liquid polysulphide polymer, which when mixed and applied, cures to form a tough, rubber-like seal. The cured sealant exhibits excellent adhesion to most primed surfaces including concrete, aluminium and stainless steel.
Thioflex 600 Pouring Grade for joints in horizontal surfaces is supplied in grey colour only in 4 and 16 litre packs with the base and curing agent in separate tins. Thioflex 600 Pouring Grade is recommended for sealing expansion joints and stress relief joints in floors or other horizontal surfaces. |
