Sealants - Fire Retardant
Product Description
Sika Firerate is a gunable acrylic based jointing & sealing compound specially formulated with inorganic fillers to provide a fire barrier. Sika Firerate has been tested for fire resistance for up to 4 hours according to AS 1530.4 in masonry wall & floor joints.
Uses Sika Firerate is suitable for sealing joints in concrete or masonry that must have a fire rated resistance to Australian Standards. Sika Firerate also fulfils the basic function of a gap filler and joint sealant against water and dust penetration. Advantages

Firerate PU is a one component, low modulus, gun grade, non-sag, moisture-cure polyurethane sealant with outstanding UV resistance. Firerate PU is designed to cure into a fire rated, elastic weatherproof seal.
Uses Sika® Firerate PU is designed for sealing exterior and interior movement joints where a fire rating of up to 4 hours is required in:

Bostik Firecaulk is a single component, non-sag, fire rated acrylic based gunable sealant. A general purpose product for construction joints and the sealing of service penetrations in plasterboard, concrete floors and masonry wall constructions. Bostik Firecaulk is a gun grade acrylic based sealing compound specifically manufactured for sealing low movement interior joints (less than 5%) in masonry and plasterboard to provide a fire barrier for periods up to 4 hours.
Uses

BASF Masterflex 250 is an acrylic based sealant, formulated primarily to perform as barrier to the incursion of fire through expansion joints. Masterflex 250 sealant is also an effective acoustic sealant.
Uses
Sealing exterior and interior construction joints that are subject to movement (up to ±20%) in pre-cast concrete panels, block work and brickwork. Sealing gaps around cables, metal pipes, conduits, busways and ducts that penetrate walls, floors and ceilings. If a joint movement is not required, Masterflex 250 sealant can be used as a putty for filling holes in fire rated substrates. Substrates include metal, concrete, plasterboard and cable coverings.

Flamex One is a fire rated, non-slump, waterborne, acrylic joint sealant which dries quickly forming a flexible seal
having good adhesion to most common building materials. It has very good application and finishing characteristics and forms a smooth skin quickly. Flamex One is flexible and will accommodate up to +/- 10% of structural movement between building components such as precast and insitu walls and ceilings, window and door frames as well as pipe penetrations. Flamex One is intended for use in relatively low movement interior joints, and is not suitable for use in water ponded or submerged applications. Advantages and Uses:
